Celebrate the unique heritage of the historic industrial village of Port Sunlight – from its foundation in 1888 to life in the village today. We also take you to Ness Botanic Gardens, where you can discover the beautiful colours and landscaping.
DURING YOUR STAY
Day 1 – Today, we head to Port Sunlight. This unique and charming model village was originally founded in 1888 by ‘Soap King’ William Hesketh Lever, the village was built to house Lever’s ‘Sunlight Soap’ factory workers but now it’s home to a museum and beautiful parkland.
Day 2 – After breakfast, we travel to Ness Botanic Gardens, which is overlooks the River Dee and is home to a large horticultural collection, show gardens and a Victorian-style potager. After, we make our way home.
