Day 1 – Complimentary breakfast bags will be waiting for you enjoy on our coach, as we travel to our first hotel – the Wight Bay Hotel, in Sandown on the Isle of Wight. (2 x DBB)
Day 2 – This morning we will enjoy a tour around the Isle of Wight – via our coach! Throughout the day we will enjoy free time at East Cowes, this marina town located across from the main town of Cowes is separated by the river Medina. Ventnor, a traditional seaside resort and one of Britain’s most famous Victorian health resorts, and Ryde the largest town on the Isle of Wight. Later, this afternoon we are offering you the added opportunity to visit the unmissable Osborne House*, Queen Victoria’s family home and one of the most popular tourist attractions on the Isle of Wight. Day 3 – After a relaxing morning we travel to The Royal Bath Hotel & Spa in Bournemouth. (4 x DBB)
Day 4 – After some free time in Bournemouth, we visit Lyndhurst this afternoon. For centuries Lyndhust was the haunt for royalty, nobility and commoner alike. Captain Arthur Phillip RN, First Governor of New South Wales (later to become Australia) live here in 1763.
Day 5 – After breakfast we visit Weymouth, as one of the UK’s most beautiful seaside resorts and blessed with one of its sunniest and warmest climates – Weymouth is an ideal destination to spend a couple of hours. This afternoon we travel to Lulworth Cove, the beautiful white pebble beaches and blue crystal waters make it a popular destination all year round. Low tide reveal wonderful rock pools and the Cove offers a Heritage Centre with lots of information about the area.
Day 6 – We begin our day in Poole, a bustling resort in the east of Dorset, known for Europe’s largest natural harbour, award-winning blue flag beaches and an historic old town. After some free time, we visit the pretty riverside town of Wareham.
Day 7 – We retrace our footsteps back home.
