Stunning daffodil displays in spring have made Chippenham Gardens a must-see for horticultural and garden lovers everywhere. This year we invite you to explore these delightful and idyllic country gardens, that are only open at certain times throughout the year!
HIGHLIGHTS OF YOUR STAY
Day 1 – This morning we take you to St Albans for a little bit of free time. This unique English Cathedral city has an interesting history that can be seen by just looking at the Roman remains and beautiful medieval architecture. Later, we continue to our hotel in Stevenage.
Day 2 – After breakfast we visit Chippenham Park, near Cambridge. Admiral Lord Russell created this enchanting family estate at the very end of the 17th century, with permission from William II. The Gardens have been awarded the highest two-star rating by Good Gardens Guide and are only open to the public a handful of times throughout the year – and what better time to visit than when the sweet smell of spring is in the air? Every spring these stunning gardens are transformed into a superb show of bright, intoxicating daffodils, spring bulbs and pretty blossoms that you can experience in your own time today. After free time, we will begin our journey back home.
