Discover the dramatic landscapes and epic shores and prepare to fall in love with Wales! Experience a unique journey on the Snowdon Mountain Railway as it travels to the summit of Snowdonia, sail across the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct and visit the idyllic resorts of Llandudno, Conwy, Betws‐y‐Coed and Llanberis.

Day 1 – Our journey takes us to Trevor, where we have arranged a boat trip across the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct, a World Heritage Site. Sit back, relax and enjoy the stunning views as you travel serenely over Thomas Telford’s famous aqueduct. After this, we continue our journey to our hotel.

Day 2 – This morning we take you to Llandudno. Developed as an upmarket holiday town for its Edwardian and Victorian visitors, Llandudno has been graced with some of the most elegant seaside architecture in Britain, much of which you can still explore today. Later, we visit Conwy, designed as World Heritage Site most famous for its magnificent 13th Century Castle and walls. It is also home to the smallest house in Britain – known as the Quay House.

Day 3 – Enjoy free time in Mold, this traditional market town has been holding street markets here every Wednesday and Saturday since 1808. Standing proudly above the town, you’ll find the historic church of St Mary’s. Rebuilt by Margaret Beaufort in honour of her son Henry VII, the first Tudor ind of England.

Day 4 – After breakfast we travel to Betws y Coed, affectionately known as ‘the gateway to Snowdonia’. This magical setting has a distinctly Alpine feel thanks to the Gwydyr Forest that surrounds the area. Afterwards, we travel to Llanberis, which sits at the foot of Snowdon, the highest mountain in England and Wales. Here we enjoy a rail journey on the Snowdon Mountain Railway up to the summit. Described as one of the most unique and wonderful railway journeys in the world, along the way you’ll enjoy incredible scenery and awe‐inspiring views.

Day 5 – Our first destination today is Chester, combining old‐timbered houses, medieval Roman walls and goblin towers. Chester is one of Britain’s most popular cities. After some free time, we retrace our footsteps home.
