Hidden away in South Wales you will uncover a remote but beautiful corner of the UK, towering cliffs are the backdrop to our break with included visits to Tenby, Hilton Court Gardens, Aberglasney Gardens and Swansea.

Day 1 – After departure we visit Hay-on-Wye, known as the ‘town of books’. Wander amongst the thirty bookstores, many specializing in out-of-print or hard to locate titles before we travel to our hotel in Tenby.

Day 2 – This morning we visit Hilton Court Gardens & Crafts, housed in an old Victorian courtyard, wander around the peaceful gardens or enjoy a bite to eat in the Woodland tearooms or Gardeners Rest restaurant. Later we take you to the pretty town of Saundersfoot for free time.

Day 3 – After breakfast we take you to Swansea, Wales’ ‘Waterfront City’. After free time here, we then visit Mumbles, which marks the beginning of the Gower Peninsula’s coastline and home to some world-class ice cream – but don’t just take our word for it! This afternoon we visit Gower Heritage Centre where we have arranged for a fully qualified guide to accompany us on the coach for a guided tour pointing out the highlights of Gower. After our tour, we return to the centre for a traditional cream tea and time to explore.

Day 4 – Enjoy today at leisure. Tenby is a delightful little harbour town and seaside resort, stroll the narrow, cobbled streets of Tenby until you reach the harbour or sit in one of the many cafes and people-watch as visitors pass you by.

Day 5 – This morning we visit Aberglasney Gardens, originally made famous by the BBC television series ‘A Garden Lost in Time’ which followed its restoration. Today it is one of Wales’ finest gardens and offers visitors the opportunity to wander through a unique Elizabethan cloister garden and more than 10-acres of gardens to explore. Our return journey is on the Gwili Steam Railway with a strawberry cream tea served on board.

Day 6 – After breakfast, we begin our journey home.
