Hidden away in South Wales you will uncover a remote but beautiful corner of the UK. Towering cliffs and golden beaches provide the backdrop for this break with a journey on the Gwili Railway, excursions to Pembroke Castle and visits to Saundersfoot, Carmarthen, Haverfordwest, Hereford and Worcester.

DURING YOUR STAY

Day 1 – After pickups we travel to Worcester, a beautiful Cathedral and University City.
Day 2 – After breakfast, we take you to Saundersfoot. This small but charming seaside resort offers plenty of places to eat and drink around the harbour. Afterwards we travel to Carmarthen, later we have arranged a journey on the Gwili Railway, formed by 1978, this was the first standard-gauge preserved railway to operate in south west Wales. Passing through the picturesque River Gwili and ‘Gwili Falls’ – on this journey you will experience some of the most stunning views, that have not been seen by the travelling public for nearly 50 years.
Day 3 – Enjoy a free day today in Tenby, later Afternoon Tea will be served at the hotel. Explore Tenby’s varied history and examine the role the town played in the escape of Henry Tudor through secret tunnels below street at Tenby Museum and Art Gallery on Castle Hill. Stop by the Tudor Merchant’s house where you can see first-hand how a medieval family would have lived in this small National Trust property, or visit St Julian’s church as charming as it is unique, situated in the harbour this late 19th Century church was built for the fishermen to say prayer before heading out to
Day 4 – This morning we visit Pembroke Castle, set on the banks of the river estuary this mighty fortress is the birthplace of Henry VII and is steeped in British History. After free time to explore we then take you to Haverfordwest, this an attractive and ancient county town offers plenty of cafés and restaurant serving up fresh local produce to enjoy.
Day 5 – After breakfast we wave goodbye to Tenby and travel to Hereford before returning home.
