IMPROVED ITINERARY

DURING YOUR STAY

Day 1 – Travelling north we enjoy a leisurely lunch break in Southport before continuing to the hotel.
Day 2 – This morning we travel to Keswick, this pretty market town offers a pedestrianised shopping centre and a peaceful place to sit and watch the world go by. In the afternoon, we take you to Dove Cottage, the first family home of William Wordsworth – Britain’s best-loved poet! Little has changed in the house since the Wordsworth’s lived here, and it is the only place in the world to see some of his personal belongings.
Day 3 – After a leisurely morning, enjoy free time to explore Penrith. Afternoon tea will be served at the hotel this afternoon.
Day 4 –  Enjoy a trip inside the magical World of Beatrix Potter. We have included admission into the exhibition for you, so you can re-live the enchanting world that Beatrix Potter created in her books.  Later, we take you to the town of Windermere, one of the most famous areas in the Lake District where we finish off this perfect day.
Day 5 – Time for home after a wonderful trip to Cumbria, our Lakeland County!
